Before a country music star wowed a large crowd Thursday night in Dubuque, he was among a group that toured Dubuque County’s biggest employer.
Dustin Lynch toured John Deere Dubuque Works on Thursday afternoon, ahead of his concert at Five Flags Center.
The tour was led by Dubuque Works General Manager Mark Dickson and covered all areas of the facility, according to a press release. Also on the tour was Lynch’s management team and fellow country singer Sean Stemaly.
“In addition to seeing where several lines of John Deere products are produced, Lynch and Stemaly also got the opportunity to climb into the cab of a 1050K Crawler and a Compact Track Loader, two of the machines assembled at John Deere Dubuque Works,” the release states.
A Tennessee native, Lynch uses John Deere equipment on his farm and is an outspoken backer of the company and its products on social media.
Photos and videos of Lynch’s visit to Deere in Dubuque were shared by multiple Deere employees on social media.
