Residents have an opportunity to learn about business development processes and policies, the status of projects and other issues during a forum next week.
The meeting about the Dubuque Developers’ Roundtable will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at Northeast Iowa Community College’s Town Clock Business Center, 680 Main St., according to a press release.
The release states that the public is encouraged to provide input on city development policies and practices at the meeting.
The Dubuque Developers’ Roundtable has met three times during the past three months. Those meetings have included local business leaders and developers, economic development officials and city staff. Attendance at these previous meetings was by invitation only.
Greater Dubuque Development Corp. strategic initiatives consultant Dave Lyons will facilitate Monday’s meeting. Lyons plans to offer background on the history of the developers’ roundtable and provide a review of recent meetings.
A developers’ panel will share thoughts before the meeting is opened to public input.
