NEW YORK — ViacomCBS Inc.-A today reported second-quarter profit of $481 million.

The company said it had net income of 78 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.25 per share.

The company posted revenue of $6.28 billion in the period.

ViacomCBS-A shares have dropped 38% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 44% in the past 12 months.
