FOREST CITY, Iowa — Winnebago Industries Inc. today reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $69.1 million.
On a per-share basis, the company said it had net income of $2.04. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $2.12 per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.39 per share.
The recreational vehicle maker posted revenue of $839.9 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $804 million.
Winnebago shares have climbed 29% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than tripled in the past 12 months.
