An auto parts store has opened a new location in Dubuque.

NAPA Auto Parts has opened its new location at 4103 McDonald Drive, according to manager John Riesing. The building formerly housed Tires Plus.

NAPA Auto Parts previously was located at 4470 Dodge St.

“(The new building) gives us access to more room to add in additional inventory,” Riesing said. “Now, we can double deck our shelving units instead of having everything all in one level. We’re also moving from a lease situation to an own situation.”

A building permit previously filed for the McDonald Drive address states that $454,000 worth of interior and exterior renovations were to be completed.

The hours for NAPA Auto Parts are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The store can be reached at 563-556-7884.
