Maggie Baker, service learning coordinator at ‪Loras College, recently earned the Mayor’s Day – Champion of Service Award for her work with the Dubuque National Service Partnership and Iowa College AmeriCorps.

Baker joined Loras in 2006 and has developed and implemented an academic service learning program in collaboration with staff from the Loras College Center for Experiential Learning, faculty members and students. She also co-supervises AmeriCorps VISTA members and part-time AmeriCorps members.
