MILWAUKEE — ManpowerGroup Inc. today reported fourth-quarter profit of $76.2 million.
The company said it had net income of $1.33 per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, came to $1.48 per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.13 per share.
The staffing company posted revenue of $5.05 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $4.73 billion.
For the year, the company reported profit of $23.8 million, or 41 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $18 billion.
Manpower shares have decreased slightly since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined slightly more than 4% in the past 12 months.
