DUBLIN, Ohio – Wendy’s Co. today reported third-quarter earnings of $50.5 million.
The company said it had profit of 24 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 23 cents per share.
The hamburger chain posted revenue of $532.6 million in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $542.2 million.
Wendy’s expects full-year earnings in the range of 84 cents to 88 cents per share.
