Mercyone names Miller Director

MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center has announced Aveline Miller as its director of health information management. She has been with MercyOne since 2017.

Archdiocese names schools superintendent

The Archdiocese of Dubuque named Cathy Walz, of Marion, Iowa, as superintendent of Catholic schools. She will take over for Kim Hermsen, who has taken on a new position as the archdiocesan director of pastoral planning and leadership development.

Walz serves as the archdiocesan associate superintendent of Catholic schools, a title she has held for two years.

Walz has been working in archdiocesan Catholic schools for 22 years, including teaching at St. Columbkille School in Dubuque from 2000 to 2003.
