WilliamsMarston launches podcast interviewing financial leaders

WilliamsMarston, a resource for accounting, tax, valuation and transaction advisory services, has announced the launch of its new podcast, “The Transformational CFO.” Designed as a forum for current and aspiring CFOs and finance leaders, the podcast offers insights into how finance executives drive transformation and lead during critical periods of growth and change.

“The Transformational CFO” highlights the evolving responsibilities of CFOs as they adapt to an ever-shifting economic landscape and the benefits — and challenges — of digital transformation. Episodes deliver discussions with leaders from industries such as biotechnology, health care, technology and financial services.

Co-hosted by WilliamsMarston founders Landen Williams and Jon Marston, the podcast draws on their decades of experience working with middle-market companies, investors and lenders during critical scaling and transition phases.

“Our goal is to create a forum where today’s financial leaders can gain practical advice and inspiration from those who have successfully navigated complex challenges,” Williams said. “This podcast explores both the technical and human elements of financial leadership, offering lessons that resonate across industries.”

“We understand the high stakes CFOs face during key transitions, and we’re excited to provide a platform where finance leaders can share their journeys, solutions and lessons learned,” Marston said. “This is about building a community where innovative strategies and stories drive real impact.”

In the first episode, Matt McLaughlin, CFO of HealthEdge, discusses leading acquisitions and preparing businesses to scale. In the second episode, Brett Kaplan, COO of Climb Bio, shares lessons learned from leading through industry shifts and the importance of aligning finance and strategy for long term success.

Future episodes will be released periodically, covering a range of topics relevant to financial leaders, such as operational scalability, M&A strategies, data-driven decision-making and financial agility.
