New vice presidents at Kunkel & Associates

Kunkel & Associates, of Dubuque, has announced the promotion of Brad Burgmeier and Michael Foley to vice presidents.

Heather Freiburger and Chad Grall have joined the executive leadership team.

Vance named to leadership team

Pat Vance, of Dubuque, has been named as RSM US LLP’s consulting leader and a member of its leadership team. In his position, he will drive strategy and operations for the firm, and will focus on continuing to innovate service offerings to meet the evolving needs of middle market leaders in today’s complex global business environment and creating a compelling workplace where leading consultants can develop their skills and build their careers.

His position will be effective on May 1.

Council appoints Jensen police chief

City Council members unanimously approved interim Police Chief Jeremy Jensen to the permanent role after he was recommended for the post by City Manager Mike Van Milligen. Jensen’s appointment is effective immediately.

Jensen, 50, has worked in law enforcement for more than 30 years and has been a member of the Dubuque Police Department since 1994. He served as assistant chief beginning in 2018 and was named interim police chief following the retirement of Police Chief Mark Dalsing last year.
